The Republicans

The Republican Party and its' members are hard to understand. I have started to believe that they do not want what is best for the country. What they want is what is best for themselves. If they can make that look like it is also what is best for the country they will certainly do that.

One of the Republican Parties main platforms is "the right to life." This confuses me as it may confuse others.
How can you save a baby from being aborted, and then have that same person die because they cannot afford the medical help they need. So I guess it should be more like a "Right to Life" as long as it does not cost me anything.

The republicans say they are God fearing people this is true as long as they do not have to share with anyone less fortunate than themselves. At least not on a big enough scale to really mean anything. Jesus said to share with those less fortunate than yourself. But a medical plan that would help everyone is just out of the question.

I know they believe in less taxes. But gosh for the most part it is the lower payed people that together pay more of the taxes. They forget that the government is us, we fund them and it is our money. Since we are going to have to pay for medical anyway it should come out of the funds that we put in, in the first place.

I do not understand the republican why of thinking. Do you?
